The Zanzibar Ports Corporation (ZPC), in collaboration with ZFDEVCO company, On 11th January 2026, has held the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for the Marhubi Passenger Port Project, under the Chief Guest, the Second Vice President of Zanzibar, H.E. Hemed Suleiman Abdullah. This is a significant step in the implementation of Zanzibar Revolutionary Government’s compass to improve maritime transport infrastructure, increase port efficiency and bolster the Blue Economy.
