Zanzibar Port corporation (ZPC) signed a contract with a private operator ZF DEVCO for the development of a new modern passenger Terminal in the Maruhubi Area.
The aim is to transform the tourism demand in Zanzibar, with an estimated 5000 ferry passengers per day, and up to 12000 passengers per day in high season.
The passenger terminal for fast ferries and RoRo vessels, it will also include Duty free Zone for B2B, international offices, retail shops, Marina, Leisure center, future possibility of seaplanes port.
